Van Der Meer Tennis Academy

The Van Der Meer Tennis Center, located a mile away from Shipyard, is also the home of the Van Der Meer Academy, which provides short and long term training for state, sectional, national, ITF, WTA, and ATP players. The Center also is the main site for junior clinics and summer camps, as well as junior tournaments and professional events. Only one block from the beach, the kids do fitness training on the sand year-round., as well as at the neighboring Players Club gym. Sit on the porch and watch future champions being trained by former top touring professionals. Four lighted COVERED courts mean there is nonstop action for all juniors, starting at age 4.
