Mitchelville Beach Park

Mitchelville Beach Park is one of the most natural beaches on the island. You might even find some deer tracks in the sand! There may not be as many amenities but this wonderful beach is one of the more hidden parks – you have to drive down a dirt road just to get there. But that doesn't mean the beach park is anything less. There is no bridge, boardwalk or beach matting to reach the shoreline, just a path of sand, and it is probably one of the shortest walks from the parking lot to the shoreline. Mitchelville Beach Park on Hilton Head has restrooms available, as well as an outdoor shower, a few picnic tables and free parking. There is a large parking lot, probably one of the largest, after Coligny and Driessen.
